Coptic Church in Rome celebrated the feast of Nayrouz on Saturday and distributed gifts on the congregation starting with children.
Abba Pernaba, member of the holy synod has attended the celebration and promoted five deacons as well.
It’s worth mentioning that the feast is celebrated on September 11 when martyrs and confessors are commemorated. This day is also the start of the Coptic new year and its first month (Thout).
