Majdi Malak, Coptic activist, said that the prosecution decided to open investigations into police abuses against Copts at Jabal al-Tair village, Samalout.
Police had stormed and destroyed the homes of Copts and assaulted them after they held demonstration before police station to demand the return of kidnapped Coptic woman.
