I had a brief review of the tenth celebration -and my 1st ever participation as a crow member which I’m proud of it- but events in Egypt took my attention and forces me to focus else where!
Christians in Egypt
My Grand father name-R.I.P.- was Soliman, my uncle-R.I.P.- Ibrahim, my cousins, Nabil, Halim, my class mate we sat in the same bench year after year was Samir...
All of them Christians but I knew as well lots of Muslims with the very same names, Soliman, Ibrahim,Nabil, and many more we Egyptians, or Copts -meaning still Egyptians- shared like we shared many more things, we share the air, polluted or pure we still breath same air, drink same water, eat same food and even God the one and unique God, the creator of this universe we share our love and respects to His Mighty each in his own way and tradition!
But since the Islamic invasion to Egypt, or what is called -for political reasons-Islamic Opening to spread the world, but they did not just step in like Peter the saint, or St. Lucas to speak and tell the word of God, it was a complete WAR with weapons and the only choice you had to become Muslim or die, obviously many many feared death to stay alive they converted and deep inside themselves they were not believers, but this still in the political view of Islam traitors and living danger that had to be eradicated by death.
Political Religion
I’m sure lots of readers are lost by now they do not see what I mean with political Islam, so let me explain:-
We agree that God is ONE UNIQUE and therefore ONE IS HIS WORD!
Moreover, Islam like Christianity recognizes the Jewish Religion, but we are not Jewish, they are not Christians, Jewish are not Muslims, we are just trying to do the word of the LORD! That is we are bound with his word in the holly books!
When someone for some reason takes a text in a holly book and explains its meaning to the best of his understanding, this is not the world of the Lord, but how this person iterates the word of the Lord! Is it right or wrong this is not my point, but the point is his word are not the origin they do not really represent or explain the word of the LORD!
Now, when somebody iterates the words of the Lord to spread his word over to others so that they all know the real word of the Lord, but due to tribal reasons and traditions or what so ever reason he or his followers had to carry weapons and swords this was an event, but by no way the order of the Lord, since the very 1st ever crime in history, Kabil, and Habil the Lord taught us that Killing leads to HELL, so if you kill me because I do not believe in your believes you are not going to Paradise!
Extracting events from history, and words from holly books, to represent your policy and views this is not RELIGION but POLITICAL RELIGION!
Back to the point
Let me tell a story now real but really close to Egyptian life recently -early 1900 before the revolution of 52- this is a job interview, different scenarios!

Now same story different scenarios again upon the early days of the revolution before 70’s

Is this the reason people stop using those common Egyptian names and Mohamed, Mahmoud, Mostafa spread versus Mina, Guirgis, and Boulos?
Is Malak -meaning in Arabic Angel- a pure Christian name, no Angels in Islam?
We do not learn the lessons from history? Did the Crusades accomplish any thing? And WHO FAUGHT CRUSADERS in Egypt? It is not Egyptians including the Christian Egyptians? Besides WHO IS FIGHTING BACK MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD NOW? Not Egyptians Muslims and Christians?

Political Religion is not only in Islam, Christians created it with pastors and priests who created Catholics, Potestants, or Evangelists, Orthodox and many more, people exist to divide the unity of man kind, political parties exist to make Egyptian divided, Muslim Brotherhood plan B is to ignite sectarian fights and recent events in Egypt shows not only Muslim Brotherhood mis-behave once again, but unfortunately majority of Christians jumped into conclusions, judged and condemned the whole ministry of interior without even awaiting for any investigations, I was going to write and analyse that event, warning Egyptians they were about to fall into the same trap prepared by Muslim Brotherhood breaking the unity between the people and its internal security -the police and ministry of Interior- However out of respect to the Church, that asked to close this file over the media, I decided not to write that analysis, but I demand the Church to stay away from that POLITICAL RELIGION, and give more attention to the spiritual life of its people specially the psychological side it is not enough to tell me the word of the Lord when I have problems with my wife or husband, I know I can not divorce the word of the Lord I have it in the Bible, what I need is your hand to step over my psychological problems and accept my life as is not as I dream to be we need to learn to love what God gave us and be thankful at all times, all the time, for all times!
May God help us all Help Egypt and Egyptians and above all keep blessing Egypt.
