Dr. Bishop Mounir Hanna Anis, Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Egypt and the Middle East, receives members participating at the annual dialogue between the Episcopal churches in the world and the Oriental Orthodox Churches, which will begin next Tuesday in Cairo.
Representatives of the Oriental Orthodox Churches, which include the Copts, Armenians, Assyrians and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, will participate as well as representatives of the Episcopal churches from around the world.
It is worth mentioning that this dialogue was officially launched in 2001 to discuss theological issues that were the cause of division between the churches in the fifth century AD.
The main subject to discuss this year will be the emergence of the Holy Spirit.
