David Pollock, researcher at Washington Institute for Near East Studies, said that Egypt is not a fertile ground for Daash and its terrorist ideas.
The researcher referred to an opinion poll conducted by the institute in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon saying that only 3% of Egyptians have expressed their support for Daash, and 5% of Saudis, while the result in Lebanon was about 1%.
The researcher also expressed his surprise at the large proportion of the Egyptians supporting Hamas.
