Journalists responsible of the Coptic issues in Egyptian newspapers decided to boycott the event held by the Coptic Orthodox Church to honor Adly Mansour, former interim president in recognition of his important role during the transitional period after June 30 revolution.
The Coptic Cultural Center organizes the ceremony inside St. Mark's Cathedral in Abbasiya, but the journalists were ignored and only few of them were invited to the event.
The Association of Journalists of the Coptic file said in a statement that they are treated really badly inside the church and especially inside the Coptic cultural Center.
The Association demanded Pope Tawadros to look into their complaint.
