Father Andrew Alexander announced he had resigned from priesthood, but still embraces the Coptic Orthodox Doctrine.
He explained that he was summoned by the committee of the Holy Synod, headed by Bishop Daniel on January 5, 2014, and held another meeting three months later.
Andrew added that he received orders from his leaders that contradicts with his understanding of Christianity, and therefore, had to resign.
