Minya Misdemeanor Court considers the appeal of Christian convert Mohammed Hijazi, known as Bishoy, on November 16.
His lawyer said that police refused to release him until November 16, and kept him in jail on charges of many crimes.
After the terrorist attacks on Coptic churches, he was working as a reporter to the Way Christian TV. Then, he was arrested on charges of publishing false information, disturbing public disorder, working without license and inciting sectarian strife.
They used later a video recorded in 2009 to accuse him also of defamation of Islamic religion.
