Dr. Naguib Gabriel, head of the Egyptian Federation for Human Rights, denounced the Declaration of Salafis that their electoral lists will include Copts. He added that they are hypocrite fanatics who claim they obey the law, and yet encourage the youth to carry weapons and participate in the so-called Islamic revolution on November 28!He added that a Copt enrolled on their lists is a betrayal as these parties don't recognize citizenship and call the Copts infidels.
For his part, Samir Farag, spokesman for OVID Organization in France, demands the dissolution of religious parties in order not to repeat the mistakes of the past.
Tharwat Bakhit, member of the Coptic Advisory Board, said the Salafis are trying to get seats in parliament, and at the same time taking part in the organization of support legitimacy and urge armed jihad as well.
