The opposition and the military in Burkina Faso decided to nominate Bishop Paul, Metropolitan Archbishop of Bobo-Dioulasso, to the post of interim president of the country until elections are held in 2015.
The opposition said that the Vatican may intervene to support such nomination if there is a consensus about the bishop.
It’s worth mentoring that the Bishop announced earlier he refuses such nomination, saying that clergy has nothing to do with such kind of power.
