A large fire broke out in the forest in front of Hurghada International Airport on Monday.
Three fire engines headed to the forest to extinguish the fire while traffic on the road was at a complete standstill.
Investigators have yet to determine the causes behind the fire.
Major General Hamdy al-Gazzar, Red Sea governor, was notified of the incident by police.
