Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will sign Tuesday a strategic partnership agreement with China in addition to a number of memorandums of understanding (MoU) in economic, transportation, education, and environment fields for the period from 2015 to 2017 , according to the official state news agency, MENA.
Sisi's visit to China is the first of its kind since he assumed office in June, 2014.
al-Sisi and Chinese president, Xi Jinping are expected to hold a summit meeting on Tuesday.
The president will also meet with around 20 Chinese economic groups that are planning to increase their investments in Egypt .
Meanwhile, two agreements will be signed for establishing water desalination station and a 50-megawatt solar energy station.
Moreover, a trilateral cooperation agreement will be signed between Egypt, China, and the UAE to establish Chinese electricity generation network
