Coptic Orthodox Church announced that Father Matthias, Patriarch of Ethiopia, will visit Egypt next Saturday at the head of a delegation from the Ethiopian Church for six days.
Bishop Bemen, coordinator of relations between the Coptic Church and the Ethiopian Church, announced that an official ceremony will be held to welcome the Patriarch.
It’s worth mentioning that such visit is the first since the ordination of the Ethiopian Petrarch in 2013.
