Sohag Security Directorate announced the state of maximum alert in order to secure the churches in the feast of Epiphany.
Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Saber, Sohag director of security, said they used sniffer dogs to detect explosives and installed surveillance cameras at a number of churches.
