Great disagreement was caused among the members of the Copts 38 Association after Nader Sayrafy, spokesperson of the association, decided to run for parliamentary elections on the list of al-Nour ultra conservative party.
Loris Adel, member of the Legal Committee of the Association, announced its resignation from the association after the spokesperson decided to run for elections in alliance with the Islamic party that doesn't recognise rights of the Copts and even participated in attacking Christians and killing them!
We can't accept to be a mere tool for that fanatic current to enter the parliament even if we are at odd with the church for divorce issues, she added.
