Twenty-one Egyptian Christians kidnapped by Isis in Libya around New Year’s were announced dead, after Twitter accounts linked to the Libyan branch of the so-called “Islamic State” announced they had been slaughtered.
ISIS had released a video showing the beheadings of the Copts that were kidnapped in Libya wearing orange while the murderers were clothed in black.
The killers had also sent a message to the Coptic church that such slaughter comes in revenge to Muslim women who were forced to apostatize by the church. ISIS has also promised to invade Italy and kill Christians everywhere.
