President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi has given a nice speech last Sunday. Yet, I hope he will commit to his speech and don’t be late like he promised to appoint the new governors no later than the end of January, which was fulfilled in February. The speech showed what we know about the president who is well known for being calm and organized.
His speech came to deny certain information that I knew they were not true. The speech was directed in a nice way that we are not used to with speeches of the president.
He denied the leaks by gestures, when he should have talked about them clearly. Yet, his work in the intelligence agency made his character this way.
He said he knows problems and fears of his people. Yet, he didn’t promise anything. His speech was elegant and decent as the speech of a president should be. He didn’t make so many mistakes like Mohamed Morsy has made. He was improvising, but he gave a nice speech.
