Coptic Church in Germany holds memorial service for Coptic martyrs of Libya

The service was attended by Bishop Hanna Aydin, representative of the Syriac Orthodox Church, and several representative from Coptic Church.
 
The service was also attended by Mr. Volcker Cawdor, leader of the Christian Democratic Union party, Ambassador Mohamed Hegazy, Egypt's ambassador in Berlin, as well as Britain, Algeria and Palestine ambassadors and cultural counselor of the UAE. 
 
Abba Damian pointed out that martyrs are enjoying great rank in our church and are interceding on our behalf. He also invited the German party to support Egypt in her war against terrorism.
 
He denounce the persecution of Christians in the Middle East, and pointed out the continuity of kidnapping Coptic minor girls and ignoring the government to rebuild the churches attacked after the revolution of June 30.
 
Ambassador Mohamed Hegazy said the terrorist organizations have nothing to do with Islam, and demanded the Western countries to support Egypt in her war against terrorism in order to save Europe as well as the Middle East.
