The new ministers were sworn in before President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Thursday afternoon at the Ittihadiya Presidential Palace in Heliopolis in the presence of Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb.
Mehleb made a limited cabinet reshuffle of eight ministers on Thursday, whereby Magdy Abdel Ghaffar was appointed interior minister, Khaled Ali Negm communications minister, Mohamed Youssef technical education and training minister, Salah Helal agriculture minister, Abdel Wahid al-Nabawy culture minister, Moheb al-Rafei education minister, Khaled Ramy tourism minister and Hala Youssef population minister.
