Elections, Ministry and Culture

Not too sure if I should be happy or upset when the constitutional court decides that preventing citizens of dual nationality from their right to be candidates is unconstitutional!

In fact I’m a dual nationality citizen and very loyal to both nations, thanks God they are not in a dispute of any kind because I really can not imagine taking the side of either against the other! But thanks God again I do not intend to become a parliamentarian neither become a candidate, in fact my experiences with politicians in any country I lived in it from France to Antigua, Britain or Greece, even USA –as a tourist who has a family there- it was very similar, promises upon elections never become reality when politicians won the elections!
An other previous court decision declared that party lists – as parties are entitled to give a whole list of people rather than a single candidate- the court said they way the lists are chosen is not constitutional and requested a quick review of the rules that govern the choices the parties use to construct their lists! In fact I was relieved for this decision as I fear un-wanted persons might slip within those lists! To be more specific, supporters of a political party just say party no names, they are not supposed to know each and every member in this party, and they might as well know people with a nick name or another unofficial name therefore real names mean nothing to them and might vote for the wrong candidate. I know in some cases, the only way to enter the parliament is through those lists, so we can not just reject the idea of those lists, but we need to tighten the observation with the correct rules!
As a matter of fact Egypt since long time ago, at least since Nasser’s revolution of 1952 never had a real true parliament that accounts the government’s performance! We always luck a true accountability of the president was he Nasser, or Sadat and Mubarak; I’ll not talk of Morsy as to me he was never a legitimate president!
Although I am satisfied and proud of El-Sisi performance as president so far, I can not close my eyes in confidence and say he will remain like that or will not fall into the human error that each and every person is subject to it!
Therefore I am as we had already agreed for a constitutional parliament to observe and account the president and the government performance, we need some real members who just love Egypt and want it to rise up back and be a leader in Africa, or the Arab world or worldwide in general, we need democracy that even in our own homes luck this democratic spirit, yes when a mother is tired or a father after a hectic day at work returns home and finds his children making noise he / she just shouts on them to stay silent, if they do not obey drastic measures take place might go as far as hitting and hurting a child! The easiest way always is a dictatorship like way to impose order in an Egyptian houses!
Having said that and confirming that me and Politics DO NOT MIX I wish in a quick word talk about the ex-minister of Interior, current vice pry-minister Mohamed Ebrahim first thanking him for his security efforts in a most difficult period of Egypt I ever saw, but as a human being he had his mistakes as well.
I’m not too sure becoming the second man after the head of the ministry Mehleb was it a promotion or a kind step aside from the ministry he headed for so long! But I’m sure he was the most heated man in Egypt –unfortunately including me and I apologize for those feelings- First he was appointed the ministry by the person who faked the elections and stole  the presidency sit Morsy, in the most difficult period of Egypt’s security, when Muslim Brotherhood –Devils Brotherhood DB- controlled Egypt, as protesters tried to express their dismay of Morsy’s performance they faced police measure that was kind of abuse national resources for private purposes, police officers refused to participate in it and the minister was removed –a black mark in his history and reason of loosing popularity- for many people he was representing the illegal authority of Morsy and police officers refused his participation in mourning some of Port Said victimized martyrs in the DB attack with Hamas on the prison! He definitely was an associate with the Police and the Army in the June 30 revolution and stood against that illegal authority! He assisted governments of ex-President Adly Mansour and current president El-Sisi, however he was targeted my DB failed Bomb Attack and the youth of Egypt hated him and the whole of police as part of the bad memories of the police state the Egypt lived in it so long! His act to end up the Stand up of DB in Rabaa Square was the major reason on DB hatred to him, but as well I saw it a very bad improper move when he allowed his officers to face death and real bullets and ammunition with just tear gas bombs and water cannons he was protecting Egypt with both eyes to human rights organization that always protected the criminals’ right ignoring common people rights!
Any way this is history now, he did what he had to do and served the country to the best of his ability was he right or wrong he did well or not it is not on me to judge I just wanted as an apology for hating him to thank him and wish him the best for his future! But I wish as well seize this opportunity like PhD Mehleb did thank all ministers who left for their efforts, and welcome as well the new ones, wondering how can we improve the behaviour of Egyptians in the absence of CULTURE, and arts is the inner spirit of culture, without arts culture remains blind, we can not see our mistakes, we can not feel humans, we can not advance in our thoughts and feelings will remain the slaves of ignorance!
Arts is not what narrow minded people think, just nudity and sexy dances, arts is movies, music, ballet, painting, sculpture and many more! Movies are the mirror that portrays social life and mistakes if we can not see our mistakes will never be able to correct them! I might in the future expand a whole article about arts and culture especially after I saw the inhuman environment the ministry of Culture is in it! Dirty popular unorganized district in Giza where every thing mixes showing the amount of poverty in minds and disrespect of all human values!
I’ll end this article wishing each and every woman a very special Women Day but with very special wishes to all Egyptian Women that suffer and suffered and will be suffering much more until we reach the future we all dream of Egypt standing back to its feet and leading the world as it always was!
May God keep blessing Egypt and Egyptians till the power of love overcomes the love of power so that world will know peace, PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL!
