"We are in a great battle for survival. A single institution cannot work on its own," President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said in a video conference message directed to Egyptians during the inauguration of the Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi Mosque in the Fifth Settlement Monday.
"I say to every citizen who loves life, the country, religion and God: Be careful that sabotage, murder and destruction is not a trait of religions," he added.
"A US congressman asked me if I am afraid to be (assassinated) like late President Anwar Sadat. I said Sadat worked hard to save thousands and we appreciate what he did with his life. I only think of God and boosting the country," he mentioned.
