Nabil Elaraby, secretary-general of the Arab League, expressed regret for misunderstanding of his remarks, which may be understood as insult for Christian religion.He expressed his full and deep respect for Christianity and his fellow Christians.
He added that he wanted to point out to the the war in Yemen that is not a war between Shiites and Sunnis, unlike the conflict between Catholics and Protestants during the dark ages.
