Dr. Kamille Seddik, member Milli council of Alexandria, said that the attack, which targeted a church of Angel Raphael in Hanovil, Alexandria, aimed to terrify the Copts and cause a state of panic among them.3 masked men had attacked the church using machine guns and shot police guarding the church and caused the injury of one police man and 3 other people who were passing by.
Police are currently investigating the matter in order to arrest the perpetrators.
