Father Ezra Fangary, Deputy of Megaga Diocese, said they held a meeting with Salah Ziada, governor of Minya, concerning attacking the church of St. Joesef and insulting Christian sanctities by security forces.
The priest explained that the place has been used as church since 2007 and provided documents and letters with the police to prove his claim.
He asked the authorities to reopen the place before the Easter in order to allow the Copts to hold their prayers in the feast.
