At each feast of the Copts, Islamic scholars issue controversial fatwas to permit or prohibit congratulating the Christians on their feasts.
Mohamed Abasiry, Islamic preacher, said that it’s permissible to congratulate them in their feasts for the sake of righteousness.
Dr. Osama Qusi, Salafi preacher, added there is no rule in Islam to prohibit congratulating the Copts on their feasts, and few fatwas prohibited that are considered wrong.
