Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See, celebrated Easter in the monastery of St. Mary known as the Syriac monastery among members of the Holy Synod and the Coptic congregation.
The Pope said in a speech on this occasion, that Christ is expecting good work from everybody.
It is worth mentioning that spending the Easter in the Syriac monastery is a tradition started 60 years ago by the late Pope Shenouda III.
