A customary reconciliation meeting in Nasiriyah village, Beni Mazar, Minya, decided the forced displacement of the Coptic teacher, and allowed the four students to stay with their families in the village.

Mayor of the village supported the decision and promised to protect the Coptic students and their families.
Security director of Minya said that after that police will deal with the people according to the law and won't accept further customary reconciliation meetings.
