Panos Kammenos, the Minister of Defense of Greece, arrived Monday to Egypt in an official visit, along with General Michail Kostarakos, the Hellenic Army officer, and Varemenos Georgios, the Standing Committee on National Defense and Foreign Affairs Chief, and met with Egyptian Defense Minister Sedhki Sobhi, Youm7 reported.
The Egyptian Minister and his Greek counterpart are also scheduled to visit an Egyptian Commandos Unit in Belbes.
Nicosia is hosting the next trilateral meeting of Egypt, Cyprus and Greece on April 29. President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi is scheduled meet the Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and the Greek Prime Minister Antonios Samaras to head the meeting, according to Youm7.
It is expected for the Summit to discuss the improvement of the relations between the three countries, considering the fields of politics, trade, culture, tourism, investments, energy, transport and countering terrorism.
