Abba Makarios, bishop of Minya, expressed his sadness that the government broke its promise to reconstruct the church of St. Moussa in Minya, which was demolished in the attack of supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood after the dispersal of Rabaa Adawia and Nahda sit-ins in August 14, 2013.He added that he was surprised that the church was not enlisted in the second phase of reconstructing churches.
It's worth mentioning that the congregation hold their prayers under the burned building which is so dangerous for their lives.
