President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will meet German Federal President Joachim Gauck, in Bellevue Palace, at the beginning of his visit to Germany Tuesday, Youm7 reported.
A bilateral discussion meeting will be held between Sisi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel over the situation in Egypt and means to develop bilateral relations and “counter terrorism” in the region.
A joint press conference will be held in Berlin, headed by Sisi and Merkel; then the President will receive Germany’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Sisi will make the closing speech of the Egyptian-German Economic Forum, according to Youm7.
Egypt will sign four Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with German Siemens, which entitles Egypt to have 10,000 megawatts, marking the third of Egypt’s power needs.
Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, and Minister of International Cooperation Naglaa el-Ahwany will oversee the signing.
A MoU will be signed between the Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Messe Berlin, and another with Fruit Logistica, the leading international fruit and vegetables marketing exhibition; Egypt will be the partner in the exhibition’s session of 2016.
