Cairo criminal court resumes on Thursday the Qatar espionage trial of ex-president Mohamed Morsi and ten others.
Morsi, who was ousted in July 2013, faces charges of using his post to leak classified documents to Qatar, with the help of secretaries and Muslim Brotherhood figures.
The court is expected to continue examining the evidence collected and the documents in question on Thursday.
Morsi has been standing in four other trials.
In mid-May, Morsi, and 105 other co-defendants, received a preliminary death sentence over charges of planning jailbreaks, murder and attempted murder of police officers. The court then referred the sentences to the grand mufti for a consultative review as required by Egyptian law. A final verdict is expected on 16 June.
In April, he received a 20-year sentence for inciting violence in the case of the 2012 deadly clashes outside the Ittihadiya presidential palace.
Both verdicts in these cases can still be appealed.
Morsi is also standing trial on charges of collaborating with foreign organisations to commit acts of terrorism in Egypt.
The ex-Islamist president, who hails from the now-banned Brotherhood, was elected president in June 2012.
He was removed from power in July 2013 by Egypt's military, with the support of most political forces who opposed his rule, following mass protests against him.
