Judge Ahmed Zand, Minister of Justice arrived to the Great Cathedral of St. Mark to meet with Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See, in order to discuss point of view of the Orthodox Church concerning the draft of personal status and building churches laws.
The Minister of Justice was keen to know the vision of the Church on the two draft laws for building churches and its restoration as well as the personal status law.
It's worth mentioning that Pope Tawadros assured that there is a legal study prepared, which includes a number of points and items concerning the draft laws and will be presented to committee preparing the law.
