Abba Raphael, secretary of the Holy Synod and Bishop of Churches in central Cairo, revealed that the new personal status law for Christians has expanded the causes of adultery that lead to divorce, including mobile messages including Whats app and other means of modern technology messages.
He stressed that the rule in Christianity is that there is no divorce except for adultery. However, the modern technology became means of cheating on spouses and proof for it.
