Abd- Allah Boshr , lawyer of Maher Fayez Habib, the Coptic boy who was accused of contempt of the Islamic religion , told Copts United that Maher’s detention was renewed for an additional 45 days.
His attorney claimed that Maher's page on Facebook was hacked by some people who published offensive statements to the Islamic religions while he lost his cell phone before that incident.
It's worth mentioning that the Coptic student has been imprisoned in a detention since May 14 and he offered an apology for the performance of third grade secondary public examinations this year, due to his poor psychological , because he was imprisoned and could not review his lessons.
