A battle with sticks and bladed weapons between Copts and Muslims in Luxor after disagreements over ownership of a guest house resulted in the injury of 10 Copts whom were taken to hospital for treatment.
According to the newspapers, injuries varied between moderate and serious for people aged 16 to 70.
The security forces intervened to prevent further clashes, and the matter is currently under investigation.
