The Preservation of Egyptian Heritage Association will organize a festival to promote tourism in the Darb al-Sebaa area on Wednesday, in cooperation with the Antiquities, Culture and Tourism ministries, as well as the Cairo governorate's local authorities.
Abdel Rehim Rihan, media rapporteur for the association, said in a statement on Monday that the festival will begin with a celebration at Sayyeda Nafisa Square to revive religious tourism. There will be a Tanoura show and a performance by Mawlaweya Band.
The event comes within the framework of the association's efforts to revitalize tourism in Egypt.
This festival will become an annual event that will take place over a period of one week in Darb al-Sebaa to promote and revitalize religious tourism. Performances by folklore bands, as well as other forms of entertainment, will be available during the festival, he said.
