The general budget’s report for the current fiscal year for the National Authority for Radio and Television Union Maspero revealed estimated losses of about 4.14 billion EGP ($528.9 million,) Youm7 reported Tuesday.
“The estimated budget of Maspero was around 11.55 billion ($1.47 billion), while the expenses were estimated at 5.9 billion EGP ($753.8 million), including 2.1 billion EGP ($268.3 million) wages,” said Youm7.
The report, which was published in the Official Gazette Monday, pointed that the total estimated revenues of Maspero reached 1.76 billion EGP ($224.8 million,) and the capital revenues were around 5.4 billion EGP ($689.9 million) compared to 5.5 billion EGP ($702.7 million) last year.
The capital revenues include 1.7 billion EGP ($217.2 million) contributions from the public treasury and 200 million EGP ($25.5 million) in loans from National Investment Bank.
