Egypt has strongly condemned the latest “terrorist attack” that targeted a supermarket in Iraq where more than 100 people were killed and at least 170 were injured, said Egyptian foreign Ministry Spokesperson Badr Abdel Atty in a statement Saturday.
The Islamic State (IS) grouphas claimed responsibility for the suicide attack in Iraq’s eastern Diyala province, AP reported.
Abdel Atty also voiced Egypt’s condemnation of the attack on a U.S. Military recruitment facility Thursdaywhen a gunman opened fire at two recruiting stations in Chattanooga of Tennessee; four U.S. marines and one sailor were killed.
The spokesperson said Egypt denounces the suicide attack carried out by three girls of Boko Haram in Northern Nigeria Friday; the three girls blew themselves up in a gathering ofEidal-Fitrworshippers in northeastern city ofDamaturu, Killing at least 13 people.
He affirmed Egypt’s support to those countries and the whole world against “terrorism.”
