Amal Salama, Egyptian Consul General in Montreal, has participated in the reception party, which was held by the Coptic Church of the Virgin Mary church, on behalf of all Coptic churches in Montreal. The party was held to welcome Anba Clement, the new General Bishop of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Churches in Ottawa, Montreal and the provinces of eastern Canada.The celebration was headed by Abba Raphael, secretary of the Holy Synod and Bishop of Cairo Downtown Churches, Abba Cyril, Bishop and the President of St. Mina Monastery in Maryout, Abba Mina, Bishop of Western Canada and Abba Julius, Bishop of ancient Egypt and public services, in addition to the presence of a large number of priests from Montreal and Toronto churches.
