Hundreds of churches in Europe ring their bells today, August 15th, as a support for Christians of the east, on the commemoration of St. Mary’s departure, according to their calendar. One of these churches is the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
50 parishes in France announced their participation in this initiative.
This call was adopted by two parishes in Spain, the parishes of Belgim and Geneva and others participated in this initiative.
