The youth committee at the Egyptian Council of Churches (ECC) has just finished its meeting and decided to establish a media office to communicate with journalists, the press and the public.
The committee includes Presbyter RafeekGereish, representative of the Catholic Church, presbyter RefaatFekri, representative of the Protestant Church, and Michael Victor, representative of the Orthodox Church; Maria Stopak, representative of the Greek Orthodox, and EmadShenouda from the Episcopal Church.
The committee agreed that the first meeting will result in forming four committees: the first will be responsible for e-communication and manages the social media pages. The second committee will be responsible for publishing articles and reports. The third will communicate with journalists and be responsible for organizing visits among church bodies and those of the press, as well as founding a youtube channel for the council. Finally, the fourth committee will be responsible for financial issues.
