HG Abba Pemwa bishop of Suez announces a new resolution regarding weddings to be applied in all churches of Suez starting on Sunday following St. Mary’s Feast.
This resolution rejects all kinds of church decorations during weddings and necessitates paying a penalty in case the wedding starts late.
Moreover, women have to wear modest clothes; or else, they have to wear an external robe on their entrance into the church, in respect for the holiness of the church.
