Alleged Islamic States affiliates in Egypt have claimed responsibility for a car bomb explosion Thursday morning at Shubra el-Khema, Cairo that injured at least 29.
“I was at home when the explosion took place. The apartment’s door flew into the living room and everything else got destroyed. May God punish those responsible,” ONTV quoted one of the explosion’s victims.
“I lost everything. My husband’s pension is 300 EGP ($38) per month. We won’t be able to survive,” another victim said.
