Pope Francis prayed in St. Peter's Square on Sunday for peace in Ukraine, and invited the authorities in Ukraine to fulfill their promises in order to reach peace.
He said "I pray to the Lord to grant peace to Ukraine, which is preparing to celebrate the National Day tomorrow, and let the Virgin Mary intercede for all of us."
