One of the monks of the monastery of St. Makarios of Alexandria, Fayoum, said that Arab Contractors Company sent yesterday equipment to pave a pathway inside the monastery of Rayan Valley. Then, the monks showed the engineers of the company documents that prove the monastery has several antiquities that could be destroyed by this work. Few hours later, the company stopped the work and withdrew the equipments from Rayan Valley.
