Nader Serafy, founder of Copts 38 association and member of al-Nour Salafi party, said that the Copts of the Salafi party are seeking a unified personal status law in the new parliament.
He added that he runs in the parliamentary elections for the sake of all Egyptian people and not only the Copts.
It’s worth mentioning that Serafy had offered a draft of personal status law to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
