Wahid Shenouda, coordinator of September 9 demonstration, said they decided to cancel out the demonstration after they met with Abba Benjamin, Bishop of Menoufia, and several leaders of the church and discussed several issues with them.Shenouda said that the meeting was very useful as they explained their point of view and learned that several problems were already solved, and other problems has nothing to do with the church but with the government like the invitation to elect the general congregation council which should be started by invitation by the interior ministry.
