The Salafist Call and al-Nour ultra conservative party used fatwa of Sheikh Mohammed Nasreddin the Albanian, which legalized nominating the Copts on the electoral lists of al-Nour. The fatwa considered the Copts less dangerous than atheists on Islam, and therefore, voting for them is the least evil!
It’s worth mentioning that several lawsuits demanding the dissolution of ten religious based parties were filed.
