The Egyptian idiom says: "chose the neighbor before the house". President Abdul Fatah al-Sisi told President Mahmoud Abbas Abu Mazen that the PLO should be responsible for the Gaza Strip, because the current situation is not pleasing at all to Egypt. The current neighbor is taking advantage from the tunnels, and is indeed a traitor to the Arab cause.
The Sudan belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood, but Egypt supports Libya in order to restore Libya! Concerning the Palestinian neighbor, Egypt knows that legitimacy is indeed with Abu Mazen and the PLO. In this situation, the house can’t be changed, but the neighbor can be.
Egypt can’t develop with such neighbor, I mean Hamas. Therefore, he demands the legitimate authority to take office.
President al-Sisi reminds the international community that Gaza lives under a coup since 2006 by hostile authority to Egypt in spite of all good things offered to Palestine by Egypt.
Hamas refused the fish farms established on the border with it since they threaten their illegal economy that threaten our national security. Yet, they don’t care.
President al-Sisi demands Abu Mazen to supervise the borders with Egypt instead of the current terrorists. There was no election in Gaza since 2006 and most of the Palestinians don’t accept the rule of Hamas. It’s indeed a terrorist authority.
