The homepages of the two sites were replaced with “Anonymous Rabaa Square” phrase in reference to the Muslim Brotherhood supporters’ Rabaa al-Adaweya sit-in that was forcibly dispersed by the Egyptian security forces in August 2013.

Screenshot of the two WebPages failing to load along with video footages showing the hacking procedures were uploaded Thursday on a Youtube account bearing the same group name.

The group also posted a message: “It is not the first website and it will not be the last.”

It is not the first time for hackers to have infiltrated through Egyptian government-related WebPages. In August, Cairo-airport.com; the website of Cairo International Airport was also hacked with its homepage replaced with an image of the four-fingered Rabaa sign and a statement saying “the revolution continues.”

The then-attack coincided with the sit-in dispersal in which at least 600 people were killed
